X-Plane RAF Red Arrows Display Team (Animated) 1.0. The Red Arrows, officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, is the aerobatics display team of the Royal Air Force based at RAF Scampton. The display starts in the distance with the Red Arrows flying their signature 'Diamond Formation'. Just before they're overhead, 'Reds 2 and 3' break away at 90 degrees, whilst the rest of the team (Reds 1,4,5,6,7,8 and 9) continue straight on. After a short time, the complete formation reappears and the animation begins again. To see this display in action, you will either have to create a new scenery, or edit an existing one (in both cases, this file would need to be added to the scenery's 'objects' folder). You will then need to edit the scenery with either WED or Overlay Editor to achieve your desired results. By Paul Mort.
