FSX Gloster Gladiator Mk2 N5520

FSX Gloster Gladiator Mk2 N5520. A repaint for Dave Molyneaux's Gloster Gladiator Mk2 for flightsimmers who wish to use it in FSX. In April 1940 18 crated Sea Gladiators were unloaded at Malta and the Royal Navy agreed to pass several to the Royal Air Force for the air defence of the island. The arrestor hooks were removed and the aircraft formed the Hal Far Fighter Flight. Three Gladiators were given the names 'Faith', 'Hope' and 'Charity' although the names were not official and were not painted on the aircraft. 'Faith' (N5520) shot down two Savoia Marchetti SM79 bombers and two Fiat CR42 fighters. The fuselage is preserved in Valletta. Repaint by Peter Watkins.
