X-Plane 11 Scenery--CPZ3 Trenton/Mountain View Airport 1.0. Trenton/Mountain View Airport, is located 5.2 nautical miles (9.6 km; 6.0 mi) southeast of Mountain View, Ontario, Canada. As with many other small airports in Canada, Trenton/Mountain View Airport has a long history of military use dating back to August 1931 when the base was officially opened. Canada has so many of these air bases, most of which are still operating now under one form or another and it would be a shame if they were not properly represented in X-Plane. CPZ3 is at an elevation of 362 ft. / 110 m. There are three runways: a Gravel one, 06L/24R at 4,800 feet (1,463 m), a slightly longer asphalt one, 06R/24L at 5,000 ft (1,524 m) and a crushed concrete/asphalt runway, 16/34 at 3,000 feet (914 m). As in any other military base, you will need prior permission to make an appearance there. Once you get that permission, you can explore nearby Lake Ontario and cross over and into US territory and airspace. This is a lego-brick scenery and uses the megabytes of art assets already included in your installation of X-Plane. It will compare favourably, at times better, to other (much larger sized) sceneries of this area and will probably exceed your expectations. Please see the included documentation for further details.
