FSX/P3D Western Airlines 727-247 Circa 1970. This is a repaint of the 727-247 in Western Airlines 727-247 colors with the iconic 'Indian' motif. The freeware 727-200 by Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) is needed for this repaint. Until its acquisition by Delta Air Lines in 1986, Western Airlines was for many years the only survivor of a handful of airlines that pioneered commercial air transportation in the U.S. in the mid-1920s. It was then Known as Western Air Express, it was renamed Western Airlines in April 1954. It was the oldest continuously operating airline in the United States until the amalgamation with Delta in 1987. Its first jet aircraft arrived in 1960 in the form of two Boeing 707-100s. The 707-300s, 727-200s and 737-200s joined the team later in the 1960s. This repaint is of a Western 727-247, circa 1970. Western operated the 727-200 from 1969-1987. Textures are 32bit bmp. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3. By Ted Giana.
