X-Plane 11 Scenery--Grass Strip In Central Ohio. (01I) - August Acres, Center Village, OH, USA. August Acres is a small grass strip in rural central Ohio, northeast of Columbus. At one time it was active with about five general aviation planes parked there, and some ultralights as well. Although it is still in the default scenery of X-Plane 11, it is now closed in the real world. So I have re-opened it. I never flew in or out of this little grass strip, but I used to ride my bicycle out in the country and would stop there and see what if anything was going on. Once I talked to the owner, and a few times saw a Cessna doing a touch and go. I have put back the hangar, structures and trees and a windsock around the grass strip area, moved the runway a bit west to avoid a conflict with the default road to the east, a lot of trees, and added a few structures and trees to Center Village to the north west.
