About This File

FSX/FSX-SE Scenery--KJKA-Jack Edwards National Airport. Jack Edwards Natl. Airport (KJKA), located on the south coast of Alabama (AL), USA is a publicly owned, public use facility established in March, 1978. KJKA features a 6962 x 100 ft lighted asphalt runway with ILS and approach lighting plus a 3596 x 75 ft asphalt runway in a cross configuration. The airport is equipped with a lighted wind indicator in a segmented circle plus a white-grean sunset to sunrise land airport beacon. The airport lists 74 home based aircraft - 56 single engine, six multi engine, seven jet engine, three helicopters and two ultralights. This version came about as an attempt to provide a more accurate version of the airport and the surrounding area using the stock FSX scenery with no add-ons. The project uses all freely available libraries and is an approximate representation of the airports. By Frederick Zealor.
