FSX Aerotal Colombia Douglas C-47/DC3A. This paint is for the freeware SX/FSX-SE/P3D Douglas C-47R Skytrain V3.12 Beta. Created in 1970 Aerotal (Aerolineas Territoriales de Colombia) by a bush pilot the company took the oportunity to adopt the recently abandoned Avianca's (the biggest colombian airline) routes covering low profitable for a big carrier isolated small villages. Constructed as a C-53D-DO by Douglas at Santa Monica, CA. Circa 1942. Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 42-68700. 4 January 1980. Crashed. Summary: The airframe was written off. There were four fatalities. The testing flight departed Bogota-Eldorado Airport (BOG/SKBO), Colombia.
