About This File

X-Plane 11 Bristol Type 175 Britannia 1.0. This is Jacques Brault's X-Plane 8 and 9 Bristol Type 175 Britannia with sounds created by Dataroots, converted for X-Plane 11. The Bristol Britannia was a turboprop powered airliner built in England during the 1950s. Canadair purchased a licence to build the aircraft type, producing a number of variants based on the original design. The Canadair CL-28/CP-107 Argus, CL-44/CC-106 Yukon, and Conroy Skymonster were all derived from the Britannia. X-Plane 11 is configured by default for 3D cockpit view, so to use this aircraft you must choose to do one of two things: After loading the aircraft, select 'Option-w' on MacOS for 2D or 'Alt-w' on WinOS for the 2D instrument panel. Thank you to Jacques Brault for creating this aircraft for X-Plane. By Sean McLeod (Aerostarsim).
