FSX Macchi 202. The most important Italian fighter of WWII, the Folgore was derived from the C.200 Saetta with the installation of a German Daimler-Benz 600 series engine. Fast, manouvrable, reliable, it had comparable performances with the Bf109F series. Served mostly in the Mediterranean theatre 1941-43. Top speed of 600 km/h at 5600 m, climb to 2000 m in 1'28'', to 6000 m in 5'55''. Armament was of 2x12.7mm nose section plus, sometimes, 2x7.7 mm in wings.
