Charlie Airlines is a startup private airline based in Larnaca, Cyprus, owned 40% by Russian carrier S7 and 60% by Cypriot private investors. The airline, which will use the Cyprus Airways trading name and brand for a 10-year period under agreement with the Cyprus government, is expeced to start operations in March 2017 and will initially operate to destinations in the United Kingdom, Russia and Greece using a fleet of Airbus A319 aircraft.
