X-Plane 10 Scenery--PALR Chandalar Lake Airport 1.0. This is PALR Chandalar Lake Airport in Alaska (AK), USA. Chandalar Lake is a 15 km long about 150 km north of Fairbanks, where winter temperatures can reach -51C (-60F). The runway threshold is marked with white stripes (as it is in real life). There is a large section of gravel on the west side that is not part of the landing area. The stripes are easily visible from the air during an inspection pass, which is also recommended since according to the FAA, there are often bears on the runway.
