FSX Ilyushin Il-76 (-78zh)

great model, I'd been waiting for the Il-76 with functioning VC. However, there is still a gauge cab

missing (STT_IL62_V1_030).

I'm running into real problems with this aircraft. I have the missing .ga cab file noted above (STT_IL62_V1_030) in my "gauges" folder in my FSX installation but with that file in the ""gauges" folder this thing will STILL NOT activate its autopilot and as a result sprouts ladders, a fuel truck, and other trash while it's 25,000 feet in the air. I even put the noted file RIGHT INTO THE PANEL FOLDER and the aircraft will STILL not recognize it. While it is true it is a very good external rendering of an IL-76 it seems the instrument panel is provided with a sort of "booby trap" that sticks the user w/the external garbage noted above but does NOT tell one in plain English what must be done to fix this. I will give it about another week of tinkering before pulling it until I get a reply that will give me an alternate panel or a fix. After that any files offered for downloads by this author should be approached with caution and a GREAT deal of patience.
