About This File

FSX Scenery--Yinchuan Hedong International Airport (IATA: INC, ICAO: ZLIC) is the primary airport serving Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Peoples Republic of China. A relatively small airport, it nevertheless is the autonomous region's main aviation gateway. Its name "Hedong" literally means "East of the River" and derives from the airport's location east of the Yellow River. The terminal building covers a total area of 15,000 square metres (160,000 sq ft). In 2013, the airport handled 4,247,843 passengers, making it the 39th busiest airport in China. This airport is one of several not included in FSX, but gets a lot of traffic in the real world. It features GA hangars and commercial terminal buildings; ramp with gates and jetways; GA ramp with parking and a fuel station; taxiways and runways as per the airport diagram and the latest Google Earth imagery; taxi signs; control tower/beacon/wind sock; ILS and comms radio frequencies. Great airport, well done. Just one thing there are no GA hangars, ramps or anything else GA on this or any other Chinese airport. They are military ramps and parking. GA was not legalised in China until 2006. 10 years later it is still struggling to get going

Thanks for the feedback! The GA ramp is fictional. It just provides a good place to park your Citation or Learjet.
