About This File

FSX Scenery Library--GA Hangars V3. This is a scenery library file only. You'll need either WhisPlacer or Flight1's Instant Scenery in order to use the object file. The object file consists of ten animated general aviation hangars (dimensioned for a C182) and tested with FSXA, but should also be usable with FS2004. Open/close the hangar doors by setting the NAV1/NAV2 frequency mounted on the hangars frontside (toggle on/off). Created by Josef Rotter.

These are awesome! They work great for me in FSX:SE. If you see red door tracks on some of the hangars, just make the object altitude -0.2 feet. They will disappear without any other issues.

The red door-tracks are intentionally 'painted' onto ground as guidelines and mark the outer radius of the folding process in this particular hangar, so that every door operator knows about the space needed for the folding process of all door-wings to prevent any accident and to keep the parked aircraft off any damage.

O course, you can 'hide' 'em by sinking the object -0.2 feet into the ground. But be sure not to strike the top bar of the hangar with the aircraft's fin as a result of this action. ;-)

I can't find the hangar objects. What are the object names? I Installed them to my FSX (Deluxe w/Acceleration Pack) scenery library, the new "Libraries" is priority 1 in my available scenery areas. Using Object Placement Tool I see all other 7,000 objects but I can't find these. Please help!

@GerryJ:

Sorry for the late reply. I have only tested with F1's Instant Scenery 3. Before I also used the built in Object Placement Tool, but I had also to struggle with it, so I skipped it. I can only suggest you google in some simmer-forums to find the appropriate answer.

@ryapad

Another suggestion: you also may additionally enlarge the entire object eg: from 1.0 (original size) to 1.1 or 1.15 or similar.
