About This File

FS2004/FSX Italian Army Cessna O-1E. This is an updated model specific to represent the Italian Army version of the aircraft. The zip contains textures, models and flight dynamics for this light observation aircraft used by many world air forces in the past. The model, made with FSDS3.5 from Abacus features a complete set of animations, 2D and 3D virtual cockpit with an animated pilot head. Visual model and textures by Massimo Taccoli with support from Chris Coarse. Panel works by Massimo Taccoli with added gauges by Dennis Seeley who prepared also flight dynamics for the model. Thanks for this nice bird. But I'm having problems. The elevator (animation) don't work for me (FS2004)...

I think I found a solution regarding he missing gauges. It's in the gauges' names.

DS L-19E Gauges.cab ( two spaces after "DS") comes with this package

DS L-19E Gauges.cab ( one space after "DS") came with the older Bird Dogs, availabe here.

The panel.cfg refers to both cabs. Solution one: Get one of the older models and copy the cab to your panel/gauges folder. Solution two: Edit the panel.cfg and insert the missing space.

I didn't notice it in first place because I have the older version installed too. :)

P.S. I don't have a fix for the elevator animation. Must be a glitch in the model...
