About This File

FSX Boeing C-97 Version 03. This is a complete Boeing 367 / C97 Stratofreighter and Stratotanker package. It includes the sound set and all previous versions, patches and updates. There are six exterior models including the YC-97A (new), C-97G, EC-97G, KC-97G, HC-97G, and KC-97L (also new). By Roland Berger (testing), Manfred Jahn (models, textures, monitor gauge), William N. I had a problem wit the landing gear. It stays out and does not retract via the "G" command . By comparing with a previous version of the C-97 I modified the electrical part of the aircraft.cfg file. Now the landing gear retracts. The modification is :

I downloaded the planes and placed them in my fx airplanes file. Like some other planes they appear partially invisible.

Very nice model. The monitor panel is an interesting alternative to a full control panel. Flies very nicely. Wish list would include DME on the virtual control panel. National Museum of the US Air Force website shows DME in the center section of the pilot's panel http://www.nmusafvirtualtour.com/cockpits/CW_tour/CW-24.html. I have modified the HC-97 paint job to an airplane my father flew while in the 55th Air Rescue Sq at Kindly AFB, Bermuda.

can't get the cockpit lighting to come on......any ideas?.....I've checked the effects folder and all seems to be where it should be
