X-Plane 10 Scenery--EGXH RAF Honington, UK, v2. RAF Honington is located 6 miles south of Thetford, near Ixworth in Suffolk, England. In 1968, the airfield was the home of the RAF's UK-based Hawker Siddeley Buccanner bomber. In 1982 it was home to IX (B) squadron, the world's first operational Tornado squadron. Flying operations ceased in 1994. It is currently the home of nos. 1, 2, 15 and 27 Squadrons RAF Regiment. This is an enhanced conversion of the RAF Honington scenery designed by Phil Fisk and is released to the X-Plane community with his permission, together with permission from "the Gaffer" at UKMIL who created the Buccaneer scenery object.
