X-Plane 10 Scenery--ETNJ Jever Air Base, Germany. Jever Air Base is a German Air Force military air base, located 4.3 km west-southwest of Schortens in Lower Saxony. The airfield was originally opened in 1936 for the National Socialist Luftwaffe. It was seized during World War II by the British Army in April 1945 and taken over by the Royal Air Force. In 1961 the base was returned to the control of the German Air Force and became a NATO Air Base. Requires OpenSceneryX and R2 Library. By Bjoern Meier.
