About This File

X-Plane 10.30 Martin B-57B v3. The Martin B-57 Canberra is a United States-built, twin jet engine tactical bomber and reconnaissance aircraft that entered service with the United States Air Force (USAF) in 1953. The B57 was a license-built version of the English Electric Canberra; the Glenn L. Martin Company later modified the design to produce several unique variants. The Canberra was the first U.S. jet bomber to drop bombs during combat. The one presented here was flown by the 8 Bomber Squadron/35 Tactical Fighter Wing in Phan Rang, Vietnam. Credit goes to Bernard Augras for the use of his pilots. By Philippe Gastebois.
