X-Plane 9.70 Scenery--CA09 Round Mountain Airport, California (CA), USA, 1.00. Round Mountain is privately owned in California, up on a ledge on a hillside. One of my stops on the way from 3S8 Grants Pass (3S8_GRANTS_PASS_MUNI_9_7.ZIP) to the coast. It slopes down SW to NE, the takeoff direction. The house, one of the only two buildings on the strip, was given a deep foundation so that it appears appropriate for the slant when "Runways follow terrain" is turned on. Land NE to SW, up hill. Orthos are from the USGS and GIMP-processed. Buildings are either custom or from OpenSceneryX. Bushes and some trees are mine, grasses by Simon W. OpenSceneryX is required. By Richard Nilsson.
