X-Plane 9.70 Scenery--60OR Whitaker Airport, Oregon (OR), USA, 1.00. Whitaker is named for and privately owned and managed by Don Whitaker Logging. It can be hard to spot, but lies at elevation 625 MSL about 12 miles north of Roseburg Regional in Oregon. He lives at one end, and operates the logging operation at the other. At 2000x100 feet it has a gravel/dirt runway. Depart north, land south. That interrupted 'X' on runway 19 means it's private, not 'closed.' Orthos are from the USGS and GIMP-processed.
