About This File

X-Plane 10.20+ Siemens Schuckert D.IV. The Siemens Schuckert D.IV was one of the best fighters of the German WWI air force. The engine was a Siemens Halske Sh.III geared rotary engine preventing any torque effect. It reached operational service in August 1918 and only 123 were delivered before the end of the war. The one presented here was operated by Jasta 12. Credit goes to Bernard Augras for using his pilot. Credit must also be given to Will Boucher for the use of his camouflage pattern published in his blog "WWI aviation Illustration". By Philippe Gastebois.
