X-Plane 9.70+ E-3D/F Sentrys (CFM-56). The Boeing E-3 Sentry, commonly known as AWACS, is an airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft. The newer E3 versions bought by France, Saudi Arabia and the U.K. are equipped with the more reliable and fuel efficient CFM56-2 turbofan engines, and these can fly for about 11 hours or about 5000 miles (8, 000 km). Royal Air Force E-3D's (liveries by Scott Wislon), French AF E-3F and Royal Saudi AF liveries (by David Austin/"USAFR").
