CFS Macro--Mercedes-Benz L 1500 - 1.5 ton, CFS version of a WWII ground vehicle. Mercedes-Benz L 1500 1.5 ton was a redesigned version of the 1500 commercial vehicle, having been built for military purposes only. While the 1500 model had a cabin which provided seating for two and was often converted in pre-WWII times to run on wood gas as a result of scarce fuel resources, the 1.5 ton received a box fitted to transport supplies, ammo and tools. The vehicle of choice for the German infantry troops, it was produced in nearly 5000 units between 1941 and 1943. By Edmundo Abad.
