About This File

FS2004 Fouga CM-170 Magister For AI Traffic. The little Fouga Magister was one of the main primary jet trainer aircraft in Europe in the late 1950s through the 1980s. Over 1000 were produced, mostly for European countries, but the aircraft were also heavily exported to Africa, Asia, and Central/South America. The Magister saw extensive combat service as a close support aircraft, and is credited with at least one aerial victory. An 8-LOD model brings this small-but-mighty workhorse to the AI traffic world. This package is the CM-170 in both armed and unarmed variants; with eight models and 60 repaints covering 19 of the 24 known users. Some missing countries simply do not have either serial information or photographs; or in the case of Biafra, the aircraft were destroyed on the ground in combat before they were put in service. The Magister was used for several aerial demonstration teams, but this package concentrates on the operational use of the aircraft; and to that end a layered Photoshop template is included for the truly mad and talented out there (you know who you are). Aircraft, flight dynamics, and all painting by Michael Pearson.
