About This File

FS2004 Scenery--Dryden (CYHD), in north Ontario, Canada v2. The AI for the CL 415 aircraft is still included here; the remainder is now part of the new Sioux Lookout post. There is no change to Dryden airport itself. This greatly modifies the previous (2009) version of Dryden, with purpose-made buildings and AI. This version is stand-alone and does not require you to have the 2009 version. There are related files of Sioux Lookout and Geraldton. Dryden is in northern Ontario, 70 miles east of Kenora, with the US border 90 miles to the south. The town is on the northern shore of Wabigoon Lake and has a population of around 7800. The airport is 5 miles northeast of the city. Dryden Regional has 6000 feet of asphalt aligned 11-29 in FS2004. The second runway is compacted sand 2000 feet long and aligned 05-23. There are two aprons, the western being for the terminal building and some ga parking, and the eastern larger and used in the summer for parking fire fighting planes, along with maintenance hangarage and accomodation, etc. The Ontario Fire Service planes are included here and keep Dryden busy along with several Bearskin Airlines and Wasaya flights, the latter included in the Sioux Lookout file.
