FS2004 Scenery--Kuujjuaq (CYVP), north Quebec, Canada, update. This updates Kuujjuaq and adds the float base on the nearby Stewart Lake. Kuujjuaq is one of the Canadian airfields that has a radio "mandatory frequency" and a control zone, although it is not a fully "controlled" airport and there will be times when the control tower is not manned. All Canadian airfields with a mandatory frequency are left as uncontrolled in FS2004. In the case of Kuujjuaq there are a number of scheduled flights each and every day and you are very to be acting under instruction from the tower. The tower frequency has been added, and the gate parking renamed. The float base at Stewart Lake is within the Kuujjuaq control zone, and normally you would talk to the tower and inform them of your intentions. In FS2004 this cannot be replicated, and Stewart Lake functions as a stand-alone base with a multicom frequency of 123.3; obviously this is only in the short summer months. By Roger Wensley.
