FSX RNZAF Vickers Wellington P9206. First of a series covering the units aircraft paint for First Class Simulations' Vickers Wellington for the MK1A - Triple AA-A 75. Sqn RNZAF P9206. A Royal New Zealand Flight had been established in No. 3 Group at Fetwell in January 1940, due to being reliable and service record of 321 sorties from January to April. In April this was elevated to Squadron status becoming No. 75 (New Zealand) Squadron, the first such Commonwealth unit in Bomber Command. This aircraft on most occasions used by Sqn Ldr C.E. Kay using the type MK1A/C into the later year. RAF relieved the now Wing Commander at the begining of September. No. 75 operated on 12 nights attacking Frankfurt, Kassel, Kiel, Stettin, Boulogne, Brest, Ostend and Genoa, with many aircraft being damaged. Triple 'A' getting a serious but surviable hit over Ostend on its return, No. 75 operated Vickers Wellington getting them replaced with MkIII variants during 1941 into mid late 1942. By Ian Warren.
