FS98 Udet Flamingo U-12a, 1925. Udet Flamingo U-12a biplane replica belonging to the DVS (Deutsche Verkehrsfliegerschule Schleisheim), powered by a 160 hp Siemens-Halske Sh-14a radial engine, with a level flight top speed of 86 kt. Light training, sports and aerobatic trainer, built by Udet Flugzeugbau in Ramersdorf in 1925. Later, production of the U-12 was continued by Bayrische Flugzeugwerke and the aircraft was exported to Austria, Hungary and Latvia, being built under licence in these countries as well. About 200 units were produced in total. The Schleisheim Flying school had 39 of these aircraft in operation at one time. Aerobatic FD for precise manouevers by Christoph Ruhtenberg.
