This virtual model represents the FACH PBY-5a #406 named "Skua" (polar bird), which was the first plane to reach the Chilean Antarctic Territory from the American continent (Santiago-Punta Arenas-Decepcion Island), on December 25, 1955, piloted by Humberto Tenorio.
