CFS Fuerza Aerea de Chile DeHavilland D.H.9. The Chilean Army Air Corps, (later Chilean Air Force) operated the DH9 between the years 1919 and 1926, mainly in bomber duties, bomber training, reconnaissance and liaison. On September 1922, two D.H.9, named "Talca" and "Ferroviario", participated in the first South American long range cruise, Santiago to Rio de Janeiro, lead by Cap. Diego Aracena Aguilar.
