Situated on a hill, high above the town of Haworth in the heart of Yorkshire's stunning 'Bronte Country', Oxenhope offers a challenge to the pilot that is rarely found in the United Kingdom. The runways are short and the airfield is surrounded by stone walls, high ground and power lines. This scenery features full local autogen trees, animated wind farms on nearby hills and animated horses in the adjacent field.
