About This File

FSX Scenery Objects--Lights! This is a library of objects aimed at the freeware developer. It's a little bit of everything from single lights to stadium lighting to tarmac lighting. All objects are native FSX and built with Gmax and the SP-2/Acceleration SDK. All lights wash the ground and have a "lit" presentation in addition to the ground wash during the hours between dusk and dawn. By Jim Dhaenens.

As a user of freeware that includes these lights; I believe you put the DDS files in the scenery folder. This actual package is for developers. When you download a scenery that utilizes these the DDS file or any other file (?) will be included in that package and instructions to install. (At least that is what I have found.) Once you have it installed your good to go.

CrazyDaveIowa, which scenery folder do they go into? The scenery folder of the specific addon or addonscenery/scenery? Same for the textures.

I can't believe this has been out for seven years and there are no install instructions.

I put the dds files in the same scenery and texture files that orbx uses. So I went to the fsx directory, Went to scenery, global, then scenery went into scenery and texture went into texture.
