FS98 Russian Air Force Antonov An-124. The Antonov An-124 Ruslan was the largest airplane in production until the Antonov An-225 was built. Developed primarily as a strategic military freighter the first prototype An-124 flew on 1982. A second prototype made the type's first western public appearance at the Paris Air Show in 1985, preceding the type's first commercial operations in January 1986.
