About This File

CFS Scenery--Strausberg. Strausberg aerodrome was opened in 1927 - as a glider airfield. It was turned into a military airbase in 1935. The design is based on the Strausberg scenery for FS2000 developed by Michael Spengler and uses accurate buildings to CFS world, using some current time objects and replaces them with other wartime (1939-45) objects. The "Strausberg" scenery is totally fictional, but shows the airport like it (may) have looked like in WWII days. The bulding positions are taken from aerial photos of current airport and FS2000 scenery, but built in "Luftwaffe Style", in accordance with Combat Flight Simulator. The airport Strausberg is located in the north of East Germany near Berlin. By Edmundo Abad.
