FS2004/FSX The Ice Gauge

   (0 reviews)

About This File

FS2004/FSX The Ice Gauge. This is a small XML gauge that can be installed on any panel. It will display when the pilot has structural ice on the aircraft, with the color indicating roughly how much ice has accumulated. The gauge also extends the icing simulation to include SLD icing. Included is a detailed text file explaining how icing is modeled in FS2004/FSX and how panel and aircraft designers can enable their planes to simulate icing more accurately and what you as the operator of your MSFS installation can do to make it include icing more realistically. By Charles (Dutch) Owen.

Thank you didn't know about this after many years of flying in FS98, FS9 and FSX.

Well better late then never I guess.

There is now a modified version of this gauge with extra features. Search for 'icev10a.zip' to find it. It contains an updated XML file to replace the original.
