About This File

FS2004 Canadian Armed Forces C-17 Globemaster III. On June 16, 2007, the first Canadian Boeing C-17 rolled off the assembly line at Long Beach and into the paint hangar for painting and addition of Canadian markings including the national logo and the Air Command roundel. The first Canadian C17 made its initial flight on July 23. It was turned over to Canada on August 8 and participated at the Abbotsford Airshow on August 11 prior to arriving at it new home base at 8 Wing, CFB Trenton, on August 12.] The second C-17 is expected in October, with the remaining two aircraft expected to be delivered in 2008. The C-17 is officially designated CC-177 Globemaster III within the Canadian Forces. This repaint utilized FSD's payware C-17 model. This is an excellent aircraft, with lots of detail and flyability. Repainted by Shane Strong.
