FS2004 Royal Hellenic Air Force Curtiss SB2C-5 'Helldiver'. The Curtiss SB2C replaced the Douglas SBD in November of 1943, but was not well received by most naval dive bomber pilots who didn't think it was a fitting replacement for the sturdy, reliable and well-liked SBD. It was called the "Son of a Bitch 2nd Class", "The Beast" and the "Big Assed Bird". E.B.A./Royal Hellenic Air Force received more than 37 SB2C-5 from spring of 1949 and used them until the end of the Civil War against communist rebel troops. The last Hellenic "Helldiver" was retired during 1952. Texture set only for an aircraft that belonged to 336th Bomber Sqdn. (M.E.B.) of the Royal Hellenic Air Force (E.B.A.) during 1949/50. These textures require the Curtiss SB2C-4 Helldiver by Wolfang Faber. Repaint by Manuele Villa.
