FS2004 SAAF Saab JAS-39D Gripen. A repaint of the payware Alphasim SAAB Gripen. It is painted as the first Gripen delivered to the SAAF; JAS-39D Gripen "SA01". The Gripen continue to use the diamond shaped two color grey scheme which has been a trademark for SAAF air superiority fighters since the late 1980's. 2 Sqn will exchange its Denel Cheetah C/D's with the Gripen in SAAF service. This aircraft was delivered to South Africa in 2006 and is currently tasked with testing by the TFDC at Overberg AFB. Repaint by Jens-Ole Kjolberg.
