Georgesim Posted February 19, 2017 Share Posted February 19, 2017 I run fsx within a virtual machine windows 7 on my imac retina. It can go up to 5120x2880, up until I got FSX thats what I used for my windows desktop. Of course I ran into the problem of the 2D panels not showing in resolutions larger than 2560x1440. Has anyone managed a height resolution greater than 1440 for 2d panels? I only fly with 2d panels, but occasionally press the a key for the eye candy. I don't have any desire to fly with the 3d panel, if I'm zoomed out then looking for a control is like looking for wally in a crowd, and if zoomed in then i have to move the screen around and can't see out of the front. Georgesim Posted February 23, 2017 Author Share Posted February 23, 2017 just in case anyone is interested, and for anyone's future reference, the highest resolution I have been able to get 2D panels is 3200x1800 this is on an imac retina running windows in full screen in a virtual machine as 4k screens become more widespread, these things may matter Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
