silverheels2 Posted November 10, 2016 Share Posted November 10, 2016 So I'm on a 10 mile final into MIA RW 26R with the Eaglesoft Citation X. I'm cleared to land but the TCAS is warning "Traffic..". So I look up and a wide body something passes me about 500 ft above. And I get clobbered with wake turbulence. ATC screwed up somehow and allowed the wide body to pass me on final. Just incredibly realistic. I'm bounced all over, side to side, up and down. So finally I disengae the AP and hand fly the remainder. Then the turbulence hit me as I cross the threshold. And ATC did not give me or the other guy a go 'round. Incredible. I'm running ASN Next. This sim is the best! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jgf Posted December 8, 2016 Share Posted December 8, 2016 At least all you got was turbulence; I was on final, with clearance, to Heathrow when a 737 flew right through me.
