GPU NEW! Happy camper

Recommended Posts

WOW! with my new desktop about a year old, came with a R7 360 2G.

Went back to Nvidia Gigabyte GTX 1060 Windforce OC 6GB, love it! big improvements for FSX.

Seattle airport, default 747 was using Resolution 1600x 1024x32 Zoom 60,FPS was average 55-60. Cranked up resolution to 1920x1080x32 oh! and all setting set real high, averaged 50-55

I have had tweaked setting in the main FSX CFG. did not make any changes with the new GPU. Made no changes to the settings of Nvidia control panel yet.

I have a lot of addon Scenery's, one of them, FPS was high as 183fps, Wholly smokes!

My regular games made different too! cranked those settings to high.FPS still good.

I was very nervous of the temp. most of all, some guys said their temp.would be very high on heavy gaming.

Since FSX is a CPU and Memory hog I figured to give that a look at too, average of GPU was 50c that's good for me.

Little more heavier games temp. averaged 55-60c still good for me. I read 80c would be the Max.on most GPU? my never did get even close too that!

Happy flying guys and gals!
