I posted this here, because it does concern FSX or FSX:SE performance. This Computer's Specs: OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit SP1 CPU - Intel Core i7 2600 (non-K) @3.4 GHz RAM - 8.00 Dual-Channel DDR3 @665MHz (9-9-9-24) Graphics - 3071MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 440 (MSI) Storage - 1397GB Seagate ST31500341AS (SATA) (c drive) That's basically it, that pertains to FSX (boxed). The only u/g I could (theoretically) would be an u/g to the 2600k; but the BIOS, so I am told, wouldn't let me overclock the "K" version of the cpu anyway. So, now do you think that the GT 440 is "bottlenecking" my version of FSX? And given my specs, what would you u/g to, so that the parts/components would remain from the same generation... Or would I be better served by biting the bullet and buying a whole new system; one that would be capable of flying in an FSX:SE environment and just on the off chance, one that would fly fsx (boxed) exceeding well.
