vikerules Posted July 22, 2016 Share Posted July 22, 2016 I've always been confused when it comes to configuring the fsx cfg, at this point all ive done to the cfg is highmemfix=1, affinitymask=84 and lod 6.5... would setting bufferpools to 0 do me any good? or should i maybe not have a bufferpools entry at all? With that rig, I would personally use as few of the cfg tweaks as possible as you just don't need them and can do more harm than good. The ones you listed are just fine. Thanks :) Yea i guess you're right, also i do find it weird that i get more fps and much smoother gameplay in windowed mode vs fullscreen (i have a 144 hz monitor). Is this normal with fsx?
