aerosim31
Hi, I currently had traffic AI sliders at 100% in UT2, on both GA and airline and now reduced it to 40%. Do these sliders have direct control over the population of the AI in general or is that controlled in FSX itself? I got it set at 5 in FSX. Thanks
evm
UT2 overrides whatever setting you apply in FSX (it tries to set the sliders to zero initially). UT2 injects air traffic via SimConnect, whereas FSX generates it from BGL files. These two different techniques can work in parallel, and you would have UT2 traffic and FSX traffic at the same time. That is why UT2 devs decided to switch FSX traffic off so you don't get a lot of "Pacifica" and the lot inbetween real traffic.

evm
You're welcome. FWIW, I think you can pull the FSX sliders back up when the sim is running, and mix the two traffic sources that way. Might be interesting for GA traffic. But I am not sure when UT2 will set them to 0 again.
