michael007800
Hey guys! So I came across this video earlier today where this guy found himself a nice list of airports in-game full of issues, many of which carried over from FSX! I do reccomend it - Its a laugh... These are the airports this Drawyah guy found. 15NK - Knox Landing SVAS - Armando Schwarck* YXFV - Newcastle Westpac Base* NRQ - Spencer NOLF 44CA - ??? KNGU - Norfolk NS* MM17 - La Retama* FV76 - Kwekwe East* MZBZ - ??? S28 - International Peace Garden Welp, that's that then! RatRace
Imagine where we would be if more people gave Flight a chance. It will always remain a mystery for me why DTG opted for the older FSX engine. Easy money ?
bdf369
I'm pretty sure DTG is in business to make money. FSX Steam Edition has had very strong sales, so why not build on that success and make a new version of FSX? I understand they do have the code for Flight, so I imagine they can incorporate some of the updated Flight tech as they go. The alternative is to write a new sim completely from scratch, but that's a higher risk venture, and they already were familiar with the FSX code base. If you're finding scenery glitches in Flight School, why not file a ticket? Unlike Microsoft, DTG might actually fix them.
