PhantomTweak
Thank you for a great vid of some gorgeous planes. Very appropriate for Memorial Day, as an awful lot of service men, Marines, Aviators, Sea-Bees, all of them, gave their lives to take that field. And hold it... Many Aviators either fought like "the Mud Marines" during night attacks, or died in their cots by sneak attacks during the night. I salute every one of the Americans on that Island during the war. Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! JetManHuss
Very impressive. The P-51 went too low and slow up these trees. Almost stalling? I like that. Usually in such fly-events, there are these little "events"...most of the viewers doesn't aware of it. Thank you for this video.

ionfresko
Thanks alot guys! PhantomTweak: Yes, I agree, it seemed appropriate for Memorial Day, it sure did. JetManHuss: I didn't stall, just a tad above, I also like that, STOL-flying at the limits. I was particularily impressed by the DC-3s slow-flying abilitites, even though I was flying really slow during landing, I think one can go quite a bit slower still. Will try it the next time!
