how do I put scenery outside of fs9 and reach it and install it into Addon Scenery ? had it working and had a crash, finally got fs9 running again, butt without the c:\ 2k4scenery where I had the addons. sorry to bring this up again.

It's really simple. Here is pic of how install folders should look in C: drive and (in my case) in D: drive. No need to save any scenery to default 'Addon Scenery' folder. It can be empty. You create your own folder (add your initials to the name - no need for fancy name) and put your scenery under that folder. When you go to activate the scenery (one at a time) you just browse to where you installed them so Sim can find them. That's all there is to it. Here are pics.
