Errors and crashes

Hi folks,

 

I recently began getting these errors..its always when I click on the menu. I have the UIautomationcore.dll file in the fsx folder. All of my drivers are updated as well. Thoughts? This is driving me nuts Running Win 7 Pro

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!!!!!! I have been getting an " out of memory-error" for about the last year.

I have

FSX Gold Edition disk set

Vista 32-bit

added 4GB of memory

have done a clean install of FSX

It may be do to a problem with media player.

I also can not get FS9 to start.

can any one help me to get media player reinstalled without reinstall the system.

Your problem could have a lot to do with you having 32-bit Vista.

 

With ANY 32-bit OS, you're limited to 4 GB, OS-wise - that is, the OS cannot address more than 4 GB of RAM, no matter how much RAM you physically have in the system. The REAL (and ONLY) cure for this is to upgrade to a 64-bit OS.

 

Your problem MAY also have something to to with the way Vista handles memory. Let's face it, Vista IS an old OS.

 

You may also be running unnecessary things in the background that take up RAM. Take a look at what runs at system startup and see if there's something you can do without. Also, reboot your system before you want to run FSX.

 

And, definitely not a good idea to post your email address on any forum.....
