Hi all, I think you will all agree this year has been an exceptional year for flight simulation.

In today's flight I'm testing out my Saitek Cessna yoke system whilst reflecting on what has been an incredible year for me, I'm now a student again studying to be a Music Therapist, it seems every year passes quicker than the one before it!

Merry Christmas and a prosperous, bright new year to you all!

Steve

Very nice pics Steve! Looks like that's great region to fly low and slow in.

What area is that? Scottish highlands? As I noticed the dam in the background in the 1st pic, I'm now curious to go check it out myself -looking at screenshots like these makes me do that sometimes...;)

my flight simming system: Windows 10 CyberPower PC i5 6600k 3.5 gHz, Gigabyte NVidia GTX 970 graphics, with FSX, FSXSE and P3D all installed side-by-side on a Crucial 525 SSD. Dual monitors, with a Saitek X52 joystick w/ rudder pedals for controls. It's all powered by a Thermaltake TR2 Gold 700W power supply sitting in a Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 case.

Hey buddy thanks very much! The area is of around Oban and Fort William, I would highly recommend a flight up there, it's so beautiful!

They look amazing!

What does being a music therapist involve? I teach the guitar for a living and am curious.

Of course! Music Therapy in essence, is a method of using music to secure a therapeutic, often non-verbal relationship in the pursuit of achieving non musical goals - Sometimes it can be very hard to work through your emotion through words, music offers an alternative medium to be able to explore your inner world. It's a very effective and proven treatment for special needs, dementia, depression, end of life car, forensic mental health, prisons and much more.
